Our Chromium-molybdenum Steel Gate Valve (also known as Chrome-Moly Gate Valve) is a specialized on-off valve designed with a wedge or parallel gate plate that moves vertically to control fluid flow. The core advantage of this valve lies in its chromium-molybdenum steel construction, which combines excellent high-temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and hydrogen attack resistance-solving the common problems of deformation and seal failure that traditional carbon steel valves face in harsh working conditions. It is strictly used for full open or full close operations, not for flow regulation or throttling, ensuring stable fluid flow and no pressure loss in your pipeline systems.

 

Product Features

 

1.Superior Material Performance : The valve body, bonnet, and gate plate are made of high-quality chromium-molybdenum steel (common grades: ASTM A217 WC5, WC6, WC9, A182 F11/F22), which provides outstanding high-temperature resistance (up to 593℃), high tensile strength (minimum 485 MPa), and excellent creep resistance. Chromium element enhances corrosion and oxidation resistance, effectively preventing cracking caused by hydrogen attack, embrittlement, and hot sulfide corrosion.

2.Zero-Leakage Sealing : The valve seat and gate sealing surfaces are overlay-welded with Stellite (cobalt-chromium alloy) or iron-based hard alloy, with a hardness of over HRC60, ensuring excellent wear resistance, scratch resistance, and bidirectional sealing performance. The flexible wedge design accommodates differential thermal expansion, further improving sealing reliability even under extreme temperature changes.

3.Easy & Flexible Operation : Available in multiple operation modes-manual (handwheel), gear-driven, electric, or pneumatic-to meet different installation scenarios and control needs. Medium and large-caliber valves are equipped with rolling bearings to reduce operating torque, making opening and closing smooth and labor-saving. Extended bonnet configuration minimizes heat transfer to packing glands, protecting the valve stem and extending service life.

4.Durable & Low Maintenance : The valve stem is quenched and tempered, with surface nitriding treatment, ensuring good wear resistance and corrosion resistance. High-quality asbestos graphite or flexible graphite packing is used to prevent medium leakage and reduce maintenance frequency. The service life is 3-5 times longer than ordinary gate valves, effectively reducing your operation and maintenance costs.

5.Compliance with International Standards : Strictly manufactured in accordance with API 600, ASTM, DIN, GB, and ISO standards, with full-process quality control and comprehensive testing to ensure each valve meets international industrial requirements. We also accept customization of non-standard products, American standards, and Japanese standards according to customer requirements.
