Complete factory-direct spare parts supply system ensures long-term stable operation and low full-life cycle cost.
5. Strict Quality Control & Global Compliance Certification : Full manufacturing process strictly follows API Q1 quality management system and API Spec 11D1 standard requirements.
Each unit undergoes 100% hydrostatic pressure test, full functional test, and non-destructive testing (NDT) before delivery, with complete test reports provided.
Available certifications include API Q1, API Spec 11D1, CE, ATEX, and ISO 9001, fully meeting the regulatory requirements of major oil and gas producing regions worldwide.
Working Principle
Our Hydraulic Setting Tools operate on a highly efficient and stable hydraulic actuation principle, with a simple and reliable operation process :
- The setting tool is connected to the target completion tool (bridge plug, packer, etc.) and run into the predetermined downhole depth via tubing, coiled tubing, or wireline.
- The surface pumping unit injects high-pressure fluid into the tool, driving the internal hydraulic piston to generate a stable, high axial setting force.
- The piston stroke transfers the setting force to the target completion tool, compressing its rubber sealing element and slips, achieving full setting and firm anchoring on the inner wall of the casing.
- After the setting is completed, the built-in pressure relief mechanism automatically releases the pressure, and the shear pin disconnects the setting tool from the set completion tool.
- The setting tool is smoothly retrieved to the surface, completing the entire setting operation.
Operation & Maintenance Guidelines
- Pre-Job Inspection : Before running in hole, inspect all components for damage, verify thread integrity, and conduct a full hydraulic pressure test to confirm the tool's normal function.
- Standard Operation : Strictly follow the rated working pressure and setting force parameters during operation; avoid overpressure and overload use.
- Post-Job Maintenance : After retrieval, thoroughly clean the tool with clean diesel, inspect and replace worn seals, shear pins, and O-rings, and apply anti-corrosion grease before storage.
- Regular Maintenance : Perform full disassembly, inspection, and parts replacement every 10 operations or 6 months (whichever comes first) to ensure long-term reliable performance.
Application Scenarios
- Well Completion : Setting of permanent/retrievable production packers, production string installation, and completion string commissioning
- Well Intervention & Workover : Bridge plug setting for zonal isolation, water shut-off, profile modification, and wellbore repair operations
- Well Stimulation : Isolation tool setting for staged hydraulic fracturing, acidizing, and formation stimulation operations
- Well Testing : Setting of test packers and isolation tools for formation evaluation and well flow testing
- Well Abandonment : Permanent bridge plug setting for well plugging and abandonment (P&A) operations
- Complex Well Operations : Deep/ultra-deep wells, HTHP wells, horizontal wells, deviated wells, and corrosive well conditions
