Working Principle
The working principle of the Pneumatic o-type cut-off ball valve is as follows: The actuator receives a signal: After receiving the control signal (such as an electrical or pneumatic signal), the actuator of the Pneumatic o-type cut-off ball valve converts the pressure of the air source into torque acting on the piston. Valve stem and ball movement: When the torque applied by the actuator is greater than the reverse torque experienced by the valve stem, the valve stem begins to move, driving the ball to rotate.
Sealing: When the ball rotates to a certain angle (usually 90 degrees), the valve seat fully contacts with the ball, achieving sealing, and the fluid cannot pass through the valve body, with the valve in a closed state.
Maintaining status: When the actuator stops applying torque, the valve stem and ball also stop moving, and the valve maintains its current state (open or closed).
