Product Introduction

 

The Umbrella Gear Transmission Knife Gate Valve, also known as bevel gear knife gate valve, features a bevel gear with an arc-shaped tooth profile, which is cone-shaped like an umbrella-hence the name "umbrella gear". The valve's opening and closing part is a knife-shaped gate plate, which moves vertically to control the on-off of the pipeline. The umbrella gear transmission system ensures smooth operation, low noise, high wear resistance and long service life, while the knife-shaped gate plate has a shearing function that can scrape off adhesives on the sealing surface and automatically remove debris, effectively preventing clogging and leakage.

Designed in line with international standards, our valve supports multiple connection methods and material options, perfectly adapting to different working conditions and medium requirements. It is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, coal, sugar, cement, mining, power plant and urban sewage treatment industries, and is especially suitable for regulating and throttling in papermaking industry pipelines.

1.Labor-Saving Umbrella Gear Transmission : The umbrella gear drive design reduces operating effort by more than 50% compared with manual handwheels, especially suitable for large-diameter valves above DN300. It features stable transmission, large arc overlap coefficient, compact structure, low noise and strong wear resistance, ensuring flexible and smooth opening and closing even after long-term use.

2.High-Performance Sealing & No Leakage : Available in hard seal and soft seal options. Hard seal models reach Class D leakage (liquid 0.1×DN mm³/s), while soft seal models achieve zero leakage, effectively preventing medium leakage and avoiding environmental hazards and safety risks. The upper seal packing adopts flexible PTFE, ensuring reliable sealing and easy operation.

3.Durable & Corrosion-Resistant : The valve body, bonnet, gate plate and valve stem are made of high-quality carbon steel or stainless steel, with strong corrosion resistance and pressure resistance. The gate plate is made of austenitic stainless steel, which can effectively prevent sealing leakage caused by corrosion. The special design of the gate plate and sealing surface reduces friction, making the valve more durable.

4.Compact Structure & Space-Saving : Adopting a cavity-free design, the volume is reduced by 30% and the weight is reduced by 40% compared with traditional gate valves. The ultra-short structural length saves materials, reduces the overall weight of the pipeline system, occupies less effective space, effectively supports the strength of the pipeline, and reduces the possibility of pipeline vibration.

5.Strong Medium Adaptability : The knife-shaped gate plate can cut through dense and abrasive slurries without clogging, preventing material accumulation and ensuring smooth operation even in harsh conditions. It is suitable for various media such as slag, coal ash, lime, slurry, sewage, syrup, pulp and slag-water mixture.

6.Easy Installation & Maintenance : Supports flange and wafer connection methods, which is easy to install and disassemble. The soft seal model is equipped with a movable valve seat and replaceable rubber ring, which is convenient to replace worn seals. The bracket is cast-molded, ensuring better firmness and usability, and reducing maintenance costs and time.
