Product Introduction

 

The All-weather Breather Valve is a gravity-type safety valve with an overlapping valve seat design, featuring automatic opening and closing based on the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the container. Its core function is to protect enclosed equipment from damage caused by overpressure or vacuum: when the internal pressure exceeds the set value, the exhaust valve disc opens automatically to release excess gas; when the internal pressure drops to the vacuum set value, the intake valve disc opens to inhale air, maintaining stable internal pressure. Meanwhile, it effectively prevents dust, moisture, harmful gases, and external flames from entering the container, reducing medium volatilization loss and ensuring the safety of equipment and materials.
Unlike ordinary breather valves, our all-weather version is specially optimized for extreme environments, with excellent frost resistance, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and waterproof performance, making it suitable for use in cold regions, tropical areas, coastal areas with high salt spray, and other harsh working conditions.

 

Product Features

 

1.All-Weather Adaptability : Withstands extreme temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 180℃ (Type A: -40℃~100℃; Type B: -20℃~180℃), and can operate stably in high humidity, heavy rain, strong wind, salt spray, and dusty environments without freezing or jamming. The valve disc adopts a special design to avoid adhesion caused by freezing, ensuring reliable operation even in cold winter months.

2.Superior Sealing Performance : The valve disc and valve seat adopt soft air cushion contact, combined with high-quality sealing materials (NBR 85° or FKM 80°), achieving excellent air tightness. When not reaching the working pressure, the leakage rate is extremely low: for nominal diameter ≤150mm, the leakage rate is ≤0.04m³/h; for nominal diameter ≥220mm, the leakage rate is ≤0.4m³/h, effectively reducing medium volatilization and energy loss.

3.High Safety & Reliability : Equipped with an electrostatic discharge device, the valve maintains the same potential as the tank body, eliminating static hazards and ensuring safe operation in flammable and explosive environments. The valve body is made of high-strength materials, with strong pressure-bearing capacity and impact resistance, and all technical indicators comply with international standards such as DIN3869.

4.Compact Design & Easy Maintenance : The structure is compact, small in size and light in weight, making installation convenient in limited spaces. The detachable design allows for easy disassembly, cleaning, and replacement of parts; regular maintenance only requires wiping the valve stem with lubricating oil every six months and checking the fire barrier (if equipped) for blockages.

5.Customizable Specifications : We provide customized services for material, opening pressure, connection type, and nominal diameter to meet the specific needs of different industries and applications. The nominal diameter ranges from DN25 to DN600, and the opening pressure can be adjusted between 0.05bar~0.25bar or customized according to user requirements.
