ExxonMobil Exits Block 52 Offshore Suriname. As part of its strategic portfolio review, ExxonMobil has formally exited Block 52, situated offshore Suriname.
The company has transferred its 50% stake in the block to Petronas Suriname E&P, the block's operator, with effect from November 14, 2024.
This move is anticipated to have a minimal impact on ongoing operations, as Petronas will continue to manage the block's activities.
